Hardware and software
We can provide and install software and hardware, and then offer staff training and ongoing support to back this up. We support most software via remote access, connecting directly to the user’s PC and talking through the problem on-screen with them. For hardware, we typically take out next-business-day onsite support with the vendors - for example with Dell for PCs and servers, or Hewlett Packard for printers.
We provide a range of internet services, including managed broadband connections (ADSL, fibre, and 3G), websites, domain hosting, etc.
We offer a hosted email service with customisable anti-virus and anti-spam filtering
Many of our clients opt for a 9-5 Monday to Friday, or a 7am to 11pm 7 days service, but whatever level of support you need, we have the flexibility to tailor a package specifically for you. In addition to the standard-hours support, our helpdesk is available 24/7 for clients who require the extra cover overnight
Data security is a legal requirement in many organisations. We can help you ensure compliance with the various directives relating to this area, including secure disposal of data on 'retired' hard disks
We work with our clients to establish what risks may exist as a result of incorrect use of IT within their organisation, and then devise an Acceptable Use Policy to suit their needs. In many companies, having an AUP and enforcing it rigorously is an audit requirement
Every business that depends on IT for mission-critical operations should have a business continuity plan to cope with the worst-case scenario. How would you cope if your server room flooded? What would happen if you had no email or Internet access? We can assist in devising plans to minimise the risks, and to ensure the quickest and most effective response in case of any critical system downtime.
